Did we decide anything?

Has a decision been made? I could do Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday this week. I know Angel is out of town but I think it would be really great to make Rob work for his supper. I am game for whatever so someone needs to make a plan for hells sakes.

Any suggestions for what you want to cook?

Have you seen this bowl?

If you have any information about the where-a-bouts of this bowl, please contact Suz as she misses it very much. (it is smaller and way less shiny than Jo and Angel's bowls.)

white or wheat

webbs are making an effort to be healthy. boo, i know. but i know a few other people mentioned they wouldn't mind, or would prefer to have whole grain or wheat options in place of white if possible. i added a poll to the side so vote for whatever you would prefer. you will have to fess up on-site, and i don't think it will be any higher maintenance then suz already is ;), but it will help in the procurement of food.

Speak now or forever hold your peace.....at least for another month

We need to make a decision on the menu. It sounds like it is unaminious that the pizza braid and the lasagna are on the menu. Did anyone have a chance to look at the recipes from Angel's friend?

I think the Chicken Cordon Bleu looks terrific. This would need to be made in a pan but we have the chicken, cream of chicken soup, Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs.

Chicken Alfredo also looks like quite a treat. We have the chicken, broth, and soup.

Ziti bake uses beef if we would like a break from all chicken.

The chicken pot pie might be good. Could simplify by using pre made pie crusts.

What about the breakfast thing the Gine's girls did their first month?

I love Cheryl's meatloaf. Anyone interested in having it again?

I tried to put a survey with the options but I do not have the power to do that on this blog. So......Who wants what? Seriously ladies. I expect to see a dozen comments by Sunday!

As we start to think about our next 10 meals, I thought we might like to keep in mind the food we already have.  This is the list of ingredients we have from last month.
1 pkg. Canadian bacon
1/2 pkg. pepperoni
1 1/2 boxes lasagna noodles
1 1/2 big boxes of Italian bread crumbs
1/2 bag of onions
garlic
1/2 bag parmesean cheese
8 lbs. cheddar /jack cheese
6 lbs. mozzerella cheese
12 lbs. cheddar cheese
4 lbs. monterey jack cheese
40 lbs. of chicken breasts

We should probably do the pizza braids again and maybe lasagna.  Let's hear your suggestions so we can get the menu planned.

NEW DATE

So when do we want to do this again?  do we want to shoot for october, or early november.  i mean, i could plow through the meals fast if we had other dates planned.  another away game day? nov first both teams have away games in the eves, so the dads could take the kids...

also, we need to come up with recipes for the next date.

and, all of you who have been able to login as contributors, i think you can modify this as if it were your blog, meaning you can post, add pictures, whatever - feel free - it's our blog, not mine.  i am in charge of enough, i don't want this to me my responsibility to maintain this solely....

i'm just sayin...
