I cooked this one for eight hours in the slow cooker but it burned around the edges so we ate out. looked good but tasted burned.

I think we don't have enough liquid in these meals to crock pot them. One way to make things go faster is to take the meal out of the foil pans and put them in the microwave. Did that with lasagna, just cook on a power level of 7 for 12-15 min and it worked great.
